Welcome to our mare page! Here is a list of our current breeding/riding mares as well as a small description of each. Most of our mares are "land bred" meaning that their parents or great grandparents were born on Assateague Island, VA while our mares themselves were born and raised in captivity. Recently we have added a few "Island Bred" mares to our herd, these mares were born on Assateague Island and sold at the famous Pony Penning auction in July. Each one of our mares is special to us and they are excellent representations of the Chincoteague breed. If you are interested in a foal from a particular mare, please contact us.

Wave Runner's Artistic Expression
Sue is one of the few homozygous splash Chincoteague ponies in the breed, she was born in Ohio and joined our herd in September of 2023. Her pedigree goes back to the famous Surfer Dude on her sire's side and Ken on her dam's side. We can already tell that she is going to be a very special filly. If you would like to watch her grow up be sure to follow her Facebook page via the link below. |

MCC's Scottish Princess
Thistle is a rare solid perlino Chincoteague, there is only a handful present in the breed. She has two blue eyes and very evident dapples year-round. We love having her in our herd and always look forward to seeing her stunning foals! *Cyclone and Thistle had a stunning buckskin colt born 6/17/24 |

Rolling Bay Sugar Pixie
Pixie is one of the farm favorites, when I bought her, I was told that she was named after Marguerite Henry's dog "Pixie". Through the years she has competed at open shows and has had a very successful career in 4-H. She has been to the Minnesota State fair grounds for the Horse Expo and State 4-H horse shows. She is a showmanship machine and will perform patterns at liberty. She is a very social pony and loves to go places to meet new people. I am so incredibly blessed to have such a special mare and don't know what I would do without her! *We are currently breeding her for a 2025 foal by Cyclone. |
